After a clan with Lucy Liu as Rebekah plus Callina Liang as Chloe occupies their fresh home, the lens – representing the ghost – follows them around. The Tammy Faye Biopic
In the battle between spirituality and money, it's a knockout win for materialism in Showalter's delightfully tacky film adaptation about the fallen religious broadcaster plus her lawbreaking partner. Garfield plays the greedy Jim, who declares early on, “God does not want us to be poor,”. The couple commence monetising the American public's spiritual convictions. It's a riot of poor styling, overdone appearance and hypocrisy, yet Chastain achieves to show the character as a sympathetic figure. October 14th, early morning, Film4
